GAGE 05: Bob Levene and Pete McPartlan
Pete McPartlan works in various media including drawing, short film and improvised music. Pete's work focuses on the systems and processes involved in making art and 'the stupidity of production'. For GAGE05 Pete performed a new live audio and video piece.
Bob Levene makes short films, performances and installations that explore and play with the subtle relationship between the sound and its source and the object and its image. Using the processes of capturing, re-producing, re-presenting to alter and question what we are experiencing. For GAGE05 Bob performed a live video piece called string pattern.
