Reviews:

Vocalist Phil Minton and percussionist Turner are like tonal micro-surgeons, working with material which fanciful high-tech orchestrations have tended to leave for scrap. Relics of primitive folk musics meet with the expressive, exploratory tendencies of the avant garde. The two mix and match their references with such skill as to play havoc with time and space. A remarkably subtle improvising partnership which is always a joy. Music which combines passion and conviction with detail and adventure, they conjure, subvert and reconcile deep, half recognised responses in their listeners.
